1. Acceptance:
The Crafty Affaire Market (“CAM”) is a juried show. Submitting an application to the market does not guarantee acceptance. CAM will judge admittance on how well the vendor will fit in with the Market and originality of products. CAM has the right to limit the number of vendors in a particular category or type.
2. Door Prize:
The application form will indicate if one is required. When one is required, vendors will need to provide the requested tangible items for inclusion in our Door Prize/Gift Basket Draw. Discount coupons, promo codes and single postcards/stickers will not be accepted as prizes on their own.
3. Payments:
Once notified of acceptance to the CAM, vendors are required to provide payment by Interac email transfer upon acceptance. If payment is not received by the specified date, the spot will be immediately given to the next person on the waiting list.
Payments are non-transferable and non-refundable with the exception of COVID Cancellation.
4. COVID Cancellation:
CAM will follow all provincial health authority COVID safety guidelines at each event. Vendors are responsible for doing the same. CAM has expenses which cannot be recovered. We will contact all vendors in a timely manner if, for any health or safety reasons in regards to updated COVID restrictions that are out of our control, the market is cancelled.
30 days before Market Date – No Refund
60 days before Market Date – 50% Refund
90 days before Market Date – 75% Refund
5. Cancellation Policy:
Payments made to the CAM are non-refundable and non-transferable with the exception of the above noted COVID Cancellation.
6. Abandonment or vacating of facilities:
Vendors are required to remain at their market space until the close of the event.
7. Assignment and Use of Space:
a) CAM will assign exhibit space at its reasonable discretion and reserves the right to reassign exhibit space or alter event layout at any time without notice.
b) The booth/space cannot be shared or transferred.
c) Vendors The booth/space cannot shared or transferred.
d) Vendors must only sell products outlined in their application form.
e) Vendors must complete their set-up 15 minutes prior to market opening.
8. Sales:
a) Vendors are responsible for the collection of all applicable provincial sales tax(es)
b) CAM is not responsible for vendor sales and if the vendor does not meet their quota t is not the CAM’s fault.
9. Marketing:
Vendors are kindly asked to promote their participation by distributing event material at upcoming events and digitally via their social media / website / blogs / newsletters, etc.
CAM can use images submitted by vendors, from vendors’ online sites, social media, as well as photos taken of vendors and their booth/space, display and products on the day of the market to promote current and future events.
10. Facility Rules
Vendors must comply with all rules and regulations of the facility in connection with the installation, use and dismantling of my exhibit.
11. Liability:
a) CAM and the organizers are not responsible for stolen or damaged merchandise while I am a vendor at the Market.
b) CAM and the organizers are not responsible or liable for any injuries or accidents on site, transporting or removing of products.
c) Vendors are responsible for notifying the customer of potential health hazards surrounding my products, i.e. allergies pertaining to skin products.
d) Vendors are responsible for obtaining insurance for my work.
I AGREE TO HOLD HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFY THE MARKET AND THE ORGANIZERS FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, INJURY OR EXPENSE TO ANY THIRD PARTY, RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE VENDING AREA. BY SUBMITTING THIS FORM, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND AGREED TO BE BOUND BY TERMS AND CONDITIONS STATED ABOVE.
